The CRISPI® Ares 8 is a 10-inch tactical boot for law enforcement, military, and the range — the lightest, most agile boot at this height in our tactical line. At 1 lb 4 oz per boot (size 9), it gives you the coverage and support of a 10-inch boot without the weight that slows you down, built for fast movement and technical footwork in the field.

The CRISPI® Dynamic Frame ties the upper and sole into one responsive unit, and a 2 Flex rating — Soft on our scale — keeps the boot flexible for quick, natural movement while holding the lateral stability technical ground demands. A Vibram® outsole grips everything from urban concrete to loose trail, and an exclusive CRISPI® designed shock-absorbing EVA midsole, the HCRY 2.0, cushions every step for all-day comfort.

The upper is built from run-proof nylon with suede leather toe and heel caps guarding the highest-wear areas, and CRISPI's Wrapping Framework (WFW) — an external structural layer fused to the outside of the boot — adds strength and support without adding weight. A GORE-TEX® Waterproof Performance Lining keeps water out without trapping heat. This is a traditional lace-up — no side zip — and in Coyote, the Ares 8 is AR 670-1 and AFI 36-2903 compliant for OCP uniform wear.
